Live through a new Android experience with the HCL ME Y2 tablet. Running the Android Ice-cream Sandwich, this 17.78cm (7-inch) tablet packs a range of features for functionality on the go. The compact form with an astute design makes the gadget attractive and easy to carry. It’s interface is simple and easy to operate with an app tray on the upper right-hand side giving access to the installed applications. The absence of physical buttons on the front and back gives a clean appearance to the tablet. You will be able to find capacitive touch buttons for home, back and menu on the right side of the screen in landscape mode. The HCL ME Y2 is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A9 processor, which is powerful and also consumes less energy. As a result, moving through different applications, multi-tasking and gaming is quite comfortable. It boasts 1GB DDR3 RAM, and has an internal memory, that can be expanded up to 32GB. You will be able to snap decent pictures with the 2MP rear camera, and make video calls with the 0.3MP front camera. The tablet comes with SIM capability, so connecting to the Internet wouldn’t require a USB dongle. There are plenty of pre-loaded applications that maybe to your liking. There is Twitter, LinkedIn, ThinkFree Office, Hungama, BigFlix and more. You get 3 months of free subscription from Hungama application, and also, by paying just Rs.1, you can get unlimited streaming of movies for a month.
